Her sudden fame translated into films roles like Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. When she appeared in Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an amazing performance in the role of Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii. She also played leading roles in the failures of box office films like Rise: Blood Hunter. Then, she was able to sing prominent characters for animation films, such as Kung Fu Panda.
