LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born on December 30, 1984) was an American professional basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James is widely regarded as one of basketball's greatest players. He is often in comparison to Michael Jordan when discussing the most famous basketball player. James won two Olympic golds and four NBA championships. James is second in highest number of career goals, and the seventh in assists. James has been chosen as an NBA All Star 18 times. He was named as an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times. He was also selected for be named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. The third highest amount in NBA Finals ever was ten, with eight being consecutive between 2011 and 2018. James was selected to his place on the NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's first player to have accumulated 10,000 or more points in rebounds, assists, and points throughout his career. He will be the first to do so in 2022. James played basketball with St. Vincent St. Mary High school in Akron, Ohio. The school was recognized by national media as the next NBA superstar. He was a pre-profession player and selected for the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft. He was named one of the NBA player of the year for 2004. He soon became one of the premier athletes of the NBA as he won an NBA MVP Award both the years 2009 and 2010. James was not able to secure an award in Cleveland and left the city in 2010 as"a "free agent" in the year 2010. This decision was made in the TV special The Decision.
