Kelly Clarkson was an American artist and songwriter who was the American sweetheart after she won American Idol in the first series. The win brought Clarkson to notoriety and led to a contract with RCA Records 19 Recordings, as well as 'S Records. Since then, she's recorded numerous recordings from her studio. Three of them have made it to the US Billboard 200 charts while the others were only one or two inches way away. It's a major performers to emerge from American Idol.
