Amber Benson hails from the United States and is a performer, actor, writer/singer/director. Most well-known is her acting as Tara Maclay from the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson has also directed her own films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and played the lead actress in them. She also starred Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on January 8, 1977 in Birmingham Alabama, daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson psychiatrist. Her younger sister is Danielle, who has a career as an artist.
